this is Todd Graff directing the crowd (in which I and my friend Kenny from Broadway By the Bay's Music Theatre Summer Conservatory are extras!) for this fun and beautiful segment of the movie. about a week before we shot this sequence, Juan Lopez and Andy Rector (trumpetist and trombonist in the movie) played a show in this club with their real-life band Driver F.

Thank you for playing Ravel's Bolero today. I blasted it in my car and my friend and I skankboogied for the entire duration of the piece. I can only dream what the drivers around us thought we were listening to. But to the ones with rolled down windows, I'm pretty sure they enjoyed it too. So fun. Love, Elvy

be brilliant and go dark for just one hour. tomorrow (Saturday) night from 8:30PM your local time until 9:30 PM. but why not listen to the woman with the most beautiful voice tell you instead:
it's mainly a symbolic world-wide action. but you can and should reduce your electricity any hour, by the way.
